I've been going to JOT at Tommy Gun's Metrotown for around a year and a half now, and I can honestly say she's the best barber I've found.I'm very particular about my hair. I like keeping it medium length with a scissor cut, and over the years I've learned that showing reference photos usually works better than trying to explain what I want. The funny thing is, even with photos, I've walked out of a lot of barbershops disappointed. That's never happened with JOT.She doesn't just copy the picture. She understands what will actually suit your hair and somehow makes it look even better than the reference. Every single haircut has been consistently amazing, and I always leave feeling more confident than when I walked in. That's a rare skill.What I appreciate the most is that she genuinely takes her time, pays attention to the little details, and you can tell she really cares about her work. It's not just another haircut to her.If you're looking for someone who is talented, consistent, and truly knows what they're doing, I can't recommend JOT enough. She has a very bright future ahead of her, and Tommy Gun's is lucky to have her. Thanks for all the incredible haircuts over the past year and a half. Looking forward to many more!

Usually don't review barbers, but wanted to make sure my guy Mathew got the recognition he deserves here. Honestly one of the best haircut experiences I've had. Besides the banter than had me laughing for 30 mins, Mathew did a great job with my cut. He was very friendly and engaging, it was honestly refreshing. will be requesting Mathew next time, cheers mate

Arman is awesome! I could walk straight in and got a great haircut. He is fast, friendly, and knew exactly what I wanted. The prices are super reasonable and it really does feel fancy and and high quality. Plus the girl up front was super sweet and welcoming as well. I will definitely be coming back and recommend this place for sure.

Don’t know the name of the East Indian barber who cut my hair Sunday afternoon, but the man was patient, kind, and genuinely professional. Since coming back to my city, I’ve had nonstop compliments on the haircut. Ended up spending well over $100 with the products and shave included, and honestly, every dollar felt worth it.Only problem now is… I’m trying very hard to gatekeep where I got this cut from haha.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I had to use Tommy gun because my regular barber was closed. They saw me quickly and the barber Zebby, was friendly, kind knowledgeable and efficient. I enjoyed the entire experience beginning to end, and the price for what I was getting done (just a shave of both sides of my head) was very fair and I really liked the pricing structure. Over all the experience was amazing and I would give the shop and the staff 10/10. Even the complimentary Drink at the end was an added luxury that I have not experienced in any other barber shop. Also, my barber Zebby, makes me want to return and possibly make this place my new go to for getting my hair done. (I am female and have more of an alternative style haircut, and felt heard and like my barber knew what to do and give me exactly what I wanted.) Zebby mentioned that she had been chosen as one of the worker from the Philippines to come work in Vancouver, but due to new immigration laws, it was most likely she wouldn’t be able to stay here in Vancouver, Canada. I think Tommy Guns is loosing a valuable employee and asset to their shop if they are not able to help her stay. Because Zebby truly is a Gem. She made the experience so comfortable and would be the reason I want to return.
